Dear Future Parents,
In view of the state of epidemic declared in Poland due to #COVID-19, and in accordance with the new recommendations of Prof. Mirosław Wielgoś, national consultant for perinatology, Prof. Krzysztof Czajkowski, consultant for obstetrics and gynaecology and Prof. M. Zimmer, President of the Polish Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians,
we have decided to suspend family childbirths from 22 March 2020 until further notice.
The ban on visits to obstetrics wards is still in force.
Any pregnant woman who is under our care (in terms of pregnancy and childbirth) should come alone, both for appointments and for childbirth – without accompanying persons. We would also like to remind you that you can obtain advice from an anaesthesiologist or neonatologist by telephone, as part of qualification for childbirth at our hospital. In order to do so, please call our hotline – 500 900 900.
We understand that you may have some questions and doubts. Therefore, starting from today, our consultants will contact all women who signed childbirth contracts with us. We want to provide you with important information and answer your questions as soon as possible.
We focus on the health of you and your children. #SAFETY is our top priority. We are fully prepared to provide our patients with professional care during this exceptional time, following all the safety measures. Nevertheless, we ask you to behave responsibly to avoid the risk of infection and take increased precautions – wash your hands frequently, avoid large groups of people and wear protective masks and disposable gloves. By taking action together and supporting each other, we can avoid the disease and stop the outbreak.
